**Warranty Part Return Specialist**

**This is a hybrid opportunity and will go into the office in Southeast Michigan 3 times a week.**
**In this position, you will be responsible for:**
+ Acting as Single Point of Contact for the administration of dealer warranty part returns
+ Ensuring positive and fair dealer relations by managing the approval process for dealership chargebacks of warranty part returns
+ Manage the process of approving Dealer Chargeback Requests from NA Quality part reviews
+ Defining and providing governance of the criteria for dealer chargebacks
+ Review, provide feedback and sign off on Global Technical Testing Instructions (GTTI) for Powertrain-related warranty parts analysis
+ Lead calibration meetings with the GTTI authors, part inspectors, and Warranty Commodity Engineers to ensure compliance of chargeback approval conditions
+ Liaison with Cost Per Repair team for updates to dealer diagnostics/or service procedures
+ Reviewing/providing decision on Escalated Warranty Parts Analysis Center (WPAC) chargebacks
+ Assist Field/Ford Teams on Warranty Part Return questions and appeals
+ Maintaining metrics on Powertrain parts return tags and chargebacks; Investigate any related anomalies. Provide management with monthly metrics
+ Working with WPAC Helpline Team and Warranty Assistance Team (WAT) on any warranty part return issues
+ Assisting Field/Ford Teams on Warranty Part Return questions and appeals
+ Drafting and publishing applicable Warranty Part Return Communications to the Field and Dealers
+ Support Warranty Assessing team in reviewing and processing Engineering/Plant Vehicle Teams (PVT) Warranty Chargeback requests
+ Supporting claims assessing team by manually assessing claims within warranty & policy guidelines
+ Reinforcing warranty administration guiding principle in all business processes
+ Processing/handling special requests from Warranty management, as needed
**You’ll have:**
+ Bachelor’s degree required
+ Minimum 3 years automotive experience
+ Ability to understand and apply Ford's Warranty & Policy manual as part of determining appropriate dealer reimbursement for warranty work
+ Ability to work in a 'production' environment with minimal supervision
+ Ability to act in a fair, consistent, and professional manner
+ Ability to work effectively as part of a team
+ Familiarity with personal computers and use of Microsoft Office software
**Even better if you have:**
+ Specific experience in diagnosing and repairing Ford vehicles preferred
