**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** This Forklift Operator position will support our warehousing operations for our technical center in Golden Valley. Duties include loading and unloading trucks, receiving and transferring ingredients, movement of pallets, disposal of materials, and general customer service to our internal business teams. The majority of time will be spent on a forklift or in the warehouse, but this position will also help support the shipping operations and partner with our logistics team in other areas as needed. This individual must have a strong safety focus and work closely with a team of other logistics employees. **Responsibilities** + Loading and unloading trucks + Receiving and transferring ingredients + Movement of pallets + Disposal of materials + Providing general customer service to internal business teams + Supporting shipping operations + Collaborating with the logistics team in various areas **Essential Skills** + High School Degree + At least 2 years of directly relatable forklift experience + Ability to lift and manipulate 55 lbs + Strong customer service skills + Ability to build strong work relationships + Highly organized self-starter with demonstrated initiative and flexibility + Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task, and exercise sound judgment and discretion + Excellent attention to detail + Basic math skills + Technical aptitude on Microsoft Suite applications + Adept at learning an inventory management system **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Steel toe boots required (all other PPE will be provided) **Why Work Here?** This position is a great opportunity to become a long-term employee. The length of the assignment is around 6 months, with the expectation to apply for an internal role if desired. There is a good chance of an additional extension to 12 months. The environment is 100% production and research-based with strong standard operating procedures. This is a great place to learn quality testing skills and research production opportunities. Please note, this position involves potential exposure to common allergens including milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans, and sesame. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
