**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** These warehouse positions require candidates to work on their feet for the entire 8+ hour shifts. Day-to-day responsibilities will be fairly consistent and involve using handheld devices (RF Scan Guns) to enter and code information needed for work order part numbers, etc. Candidates who are willing to learn and have at least 6 months of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment will thrive and understand the pace. Note that this is not a climate-controlled environment. **Responsibilities** + Use handheld devices (RF Scan Guns) to enter and code information for work orders. + Push, pull, and lift at least 40lbs. + Stand on concrete for extended periods. + Maintain inventory control and organization. + Perform shipping, receiving, general labor, sorting, and picker/packer duties. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 6 months of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment. + Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment. + Ability to stand and work on feet for 8+ hours. + Basic computer skills. + Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Candidates must pass a math and matching numbers test with a score of 70% or higher. + Experience with kitting parts and matching orders is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where you can grow your skills and experience in a large, fast-paced warehouse environment. The team comprises approximately 350 people. Jeans are required, and candidates need to have safety or composite toe shoes/boots, which can be purchased at Wal-Mart. This is a non-climate-controlled environment, requiring candidates to be comfortable working in varying temperatures. Shifts may include weekends, nights, and overtime. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.50/hr.
