Job Description

We are searching for the right person to join a family-owned ag-fertilizer supply company as a Warehouse Associate. Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing inventory, organizing the warehouse, and maintaining accurate records.

ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipmentFulfill product order invoicesUnload material from incoming trucksLoad products onto delivery trucks for shippingAssist with maintaining equipment, including cleaning out production equipment and linesMaintain a clean and safe work areaEssential SkillsHigh School diploma or equivalent1-2 years of experience in a warehouse settingStrong organizational and time management skillsBasic math skillsFamiliarity with computer and inventory software preferredAbility to stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, stack, lift, and walk for long periods of timeAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with forklift operation (80% of the time)Willingness to clean areas and assist in various tasks, including sweeping floors and helping prepare for the next dayAbility to read SKUs and work orders accurately to ensure correct order processingCapability to handle labor-intensive tasks and lift 50-pound bags when not operating a forkliftWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

This role is set in a warehouse production environment where you will be exposed to varying temperatures, including heat, cold, humid conditions, and dust. The typical work schedule is between 6 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 42.5 hours per week and additional overtime as needed. The dress code is appropriate for a manufacturing environment, ensuring safety and comfort during work hours.

This is a Permanent position based out of El Dorado, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33280.00 - $35360.00/yr.
