Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This includes functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. The goal is to ensure the efficient flow of products from the point of receipt from vendors to the shipment of products to various internal and external customers.

ResponsibilitiesAssist with picking orders and loading carts with empty totes.Sort and separate green and orange cooler packs into different crates, then push the freezer rack into the freezer.Dispose of debris found in totes.Replace broken or leaking cooler packs by sealing new packs in plastic bags.Perform other duties as needed, which may include picking, sorting, and unloading within the distribution center.Essential Skills3-6 months of warehouse experience.Ability to lift 15 lbs.Ability to stand, bend, and reach for 8 hours.Additional Skills & QualificationsOwn steel-toed shoes.Ability to read, write, and speak English.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.High School Diploma or GED.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role operates within a temperature-controlled environment, between 68-72 degrees. The distribution center handles over-the-counter drugs and medical supplies for hospitals and doctor offices, shipping to all of New York State and northern Pennsylvania. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7am to 3:30pm or until the job is complete. Tardiness is not acceptable.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.90 - $17.90/hr.
