Job Description

The Warehouse Technician role supports Eurofins CDMO Alphora’s cGMP manufacturing facilities.  The Warehouse Technician role is accountable to the Team Leader, Warehouse for the control of materials within Eurofins CDMO Alphora’s cGMP warehouse including raw materials, intermediates, finished products and waste streams. This role requires material receipt and sampling, inventory management, including consumables, and coordinating the transfer of material and equipment between Eurofins CDMO Alphora’s manufacturing facilities.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follow Environmental, Health and Safety rules/regulations and report any workplace incidents, injuries or accidents immediately.Adhere to policies and guidelines set out in the Alphora Employee Handbook.Work harmoniously with all fellow employeesSupport the production schedule while working closely with key stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Operations, Technology Transfer, Quality Control and Quality AssuranceReceipt, Quarantining and Sampling of cGMP raw materialsStaging of raw materials for cGMP OperationsIdentifying, organizing, and segregating hazardous chemical wastes according to the appropriate waste classSubmission of raw material samples to Quality ControlShipping of material(s) and equipment via courier between sitesSupport Supply Chain during the shipment of all materials (e.g. final products) as required by ClientsCleaning and housekeeping of the Warehouse and Sampling facilitiesAdherence to all relevant EHSPs, GLI’s, GAP’s and SOP’sInteract with clients as required.Interact with cGMP auditors or various agencies (e.g. FDA) as required.Actively support monthly inventory cycle counts and year end counts

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

Have a minimum of a College Diploma or DegreeHave experience working in a cGMP environmentHave experience working with an Inventory Management System (i.e., Ross ERP)Have experience with shipments, domestic and internationalHave proficient written and verbal skillsBe capable of multi-tasking and performing duties with limited supervisionHave good interpersonal skillsHave good time management skillsHave good documentation skillsHave a minimum of 1 year experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing warehouse with experience in a cGMP warehouse preferred
