For more information, please visit www.lggindustrial.com **ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY** **Role Profile** **Position:** Warehouse Technician **Job Location:** Deetag - Brampton, ON **Job Type:** Full-Time **Status:** Non-Exempt **Schedule:** Day Shift, M-F **Summary of the Role** This position will be primarily responsible for picking product from the warehouse, shipping and receiving. **Responsibilities** + Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures. + Receives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehouse. + Picks product in warehouse and prepares items for delivery or shipping. + Operates mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts and picking lifts. + Assists with physical inventory. + Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements. + Kit and prepare customer orders for shipment according to customer specifications. + Follows standard operating procedures. + Back-up for production personnel as/when needed. + Performs other related duties as required. **Skills and Abilities** + Strong attention to detail. + High proficiency for reading and writing in English is required; + Applicants should possess the ability to interact with team members in a professional manner. + Must have good communication skills. + Requires basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure. + Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools. + Strong computer skills required. + The ability to pull, push, grasp, bend, lift and carry up to 50lbs on a regular basis. **Qualifications** + Working knowledge of shipping/receiving functions1-2 years of warehousing or production experience in an industrial setting is preferred. + A high school diploma or equivalent. + Reliable transportation is a must. + Some overtime may be required. **Equal Opportunity** We’re an equal opportunity employer.
