Responsibilities

As directed, performs a variety of warehousing duties:

Offloading of UPS/FedEx,

Truckload Shipping (TL) and LTL (Less-Than-Truckload Shipping) freight, sorting of freight, receiving freight into WMS, put away freight, order pick small packages, cycle counting, physical inventories, safety, and housekeeping.

Will follow all of Akima & SUVI Global Services Safety rules and requirements.

Position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.

Performs all other job duties as needed.

Performance Measurements:

You are expected to receive a minimum of 100 packages or 100 boxes per day.

You are expected to receive one single receipt in 3-5 minutes.

Put-A-Way Process you are expected to put a single piece of freight away within five minutes.

Qualifications

High School or equivalent and 3+ years of experience

Strong command of the English language both verbally and written.

Basic math skills.

Orientation to detail.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, computers, printers, and scanners.

Proficiency in using a tape measure and using a banding tool.

Proficiency in using a stretch wrap machine, handheld stretch wrapping.

Ability to operate a manual pallet jack.

A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and meet the demands of our customer and management.
