Job Description

Assist Warehouse Team Leaders with coordinating team members engaged in warehouse operations per established company/industry standards and procedures. Participate actively in training and coaching new/tenure team members in job duties, responsibilities, and safety. Assist the Production Department as needed.

 
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

(35%):

Assist TLs in compiling daily key indicatorsAssist TLs in preparing daily warehouse statistical reportsMaintain a safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, and local, state, and federal requirements

(45%):

Lead the warehouse team in the absence of the TLAssign job tasks according to shipping schedulesWork as a warehouse team member and perform tasks necessary to meet warehouse goalsAccurately complete all necessary paperworkManage day-to-day inventory levels with the use of a solo chain.

(20%):

Become and maintain Forklift certificationAssist with recruiting, interviewing, and training new team membersAttend and participate in annual Leadership & Development training sessionsWear and follow Domino’s Pizza uniform standards

QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED1-2 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or production experienceOne year of shift lead experience with sound, effective communication skillsMaintain forklift certificationWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office softwareAbility to work in a production/warehouse environment with constant exposure to loud machineryAbility to work in extreme temperatures, both indoors and outdoorsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to stand and/or walk for long periods, climb stairs, and lift to 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. on occasionMust be available to work during a shift, which may be scheduled anytime during a 24-hour day over any 7-day period
