Job Description:

This position is responsible for sorting hold area slabs, selecting slabs for fabrication, and moving slabs to the necessary line location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Learn and apply the concepts of Cambria warehouse work as outlined in the Warehouse SOPsStage material to prepare for inspection of slabSort slabs using an overhead crane and store them in the correct locationsEnsure that slabs are scanned correctlyInspect the overhead crane dailyOperate a forklift as needed (minimal, no experience required)Complete safety inspections of forklift and craneParticipate in monthly inventory countsCommunicate with Supervisor to keep them informed of material defects and inventory levelsKeep work area clean and orderlyConduct all job-related duties in a safe and responsible mannerAdditional duties as assigned by managementHigh attention to detailReliable and punctual - Attend work daily, and work the duration of a shiftDirect communicationSense of urgency in completing workCapable of multitaskingWork well both independently and with a teamSelf-motivated

Ability to work safely and follow Standard Operating ProceduresAbility to become certified in using a forklift and an overhead craneAbility to read and write in English to complete required documentationAbility to work as a team playerBasic Computer Skills

Physical Requirements:

Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $16.50-18.50. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
