Warehouse Material Handler

Job Summary:

You are a Warehouse Material Handler responsible for the daily flow of materials, which includes accurate shipping, receiving and inventory control. You will be responsible for preserving a clean and safe work environment, and for maintaining/repairing warehouse equipment and fleet vehicles. You will also build and maintain relationships with field technicians, ensuring the needs of warehouse staff are met.

Essential Responsibilities:

Verify the condition and quantity of incoming and outgoing materialsOversee maintenance and small repairs for fleet vehicles and warehouse equipmentProvide support for shipping and receiving as required, including inventory control and order selectionAssist technicians with loading material, operating forklift as requiredEnsure warehouse cleanliness and provides waste disposal, with a focus on safety

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience working in a warehouse or similar environmentExperience handling inbound and outbound stockKnowledge of inventory tracking systemsFamiliarity with auditing processes such as process compliance, asset protection, security, quality control and labor utilization

Work Conditions:

Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 pounds)
