Your role and responsibilitiesBasic Function: Responsible for Receiving, Order filling and Shipping job functions while placing focus on safety, quality, productivity and housekeeping to meet daily goals and objectives. Receive and verify documentation, sku #, quantities and overall quality from vendorsStock product from vendors and plants into bulk locationsConsolidate product with the same sku #’s in bulk locationsPull bulk product and place in pick zonesConsult with Inventory Control in resolving stock issuesRetrieve specified product from pick locations to ship Transfer cartons from shipping lanes to stack onto pallets for loadingMeet and maintain department quality/productivity standards.Able and certified to drive power industrial equipment as neededOther duties as deemed necessary or assigned.
Qualifications for the roleQualifications: Minimum 2- years verifiable experience in manufacturing/distribution environmentHigh School diploma or equivalentBasic computer skills and understanding of overall distribution operations. Ability to read and comprehend information and count inventory accurately.Ability to work in 3-level modules - Not afraid of height Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively and frequently.Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time and climb stairs throughout shift.Flexible to work overtime with little or no notice.
