Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan, direct, and monitor all activities in the warehouse. Each day, you will develop and manage warehouse operations to effectively control the receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of products, systems, and services to customers. You will also showcase your expertise by proposing and managing the annual warehouse budget.The work model for the role is: #LI - OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation Robotics division in Auburn Hills, MI.. Main stakeholders are both our internal and internal customers.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tOperating within the approved budget and managing the warehouse staff activities to optimize resource utilization and determines corrective actions for cost-related issues as necessary.•\tImproving warehouse operations using lean practices.•\tPlanning and optimizing warehouse utilization and inventory.•\tMonitoring the storage, delivery, and dispatch of orders and keeping stock control systems up to date; and overseeing stock control and processing orders.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor's (supply chain/logistics) degree and 5+ yrs, OR an AA and 8+ yrs., OR a HS Diploma and 11+ yrs experience in the following: Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving, internal logistics, inventory, material handling, distribution operationsHighly Preferred Qualifications: minimum of 3 years’ experience leading a team. Experience with UKG Pro / Kronos for timecards management; SAP experience for intralogistics. Certified to operate machinery such as Forklifts. Advanced Excel (pivot tables).Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
