What you’ll be doing: 

Oversee receiving and stowing, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation. Optimize efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space. Monitor the safety and security of goods and materials. Utilize a warehouse management system, enterprise resource system, or other systems to track and analyze processes and performance.Implement strong safety policies and procedures.Coach and mentor warehouse associates as needed.Manage inventory counts and ensure accuracy in inventory reporting.Oversee the coordination of van inventory. All other duties as assigned.

Successful Candidate Must Possess the Following Qualifications:

Desire to be part of a winning team.Possession of a valid driver’s license and good driving record.Ability to manage warehouse staff at multiple locations (requires travel).Excellent attention to detail with a high sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.Strong ability to read and understand technical instructions.Knowledge and understanding of cost-effective purchasing processes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong knowledge of equipment, tools and methods commonly applied in trades. Knowledge of safety practices.Excellent ability to explain technical information to clients.Computer knowledge and the ability to apply the necessary software tools for inventory, purchasing, timekeeping, etc.  This position is considered a safety sensitive position, successful completion of a preemployment drug screen and background check is required.
