What we need 

We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our Service Center of Excellence organization. In this hands-on role, you will lead a warehouse team responsible for all shipping and receiving activities, with a focus on ensuring accurate and timely SAP transactions. You will collaborate closely with external vendors, customer sites, and internal stakeholders to drive effective communication and resolve any material discrepancies, including Return Material Authorizations (RMAs). 

 

What we do 

The Warehouse team within the Service Center of Excellence is dedicated to supporting service, repair, testing, evaluation, and field support activities. We manage the shipping, receiving, and material handling for repair-related materials. Our primary focus is on meeting the repair and service material needs essential for customer service. The team works in close collaboration with other departments to ensure accurate material movement and transaction processing. 

 

What you’ll do 

Oversee the timely and accurate execution of outbound shipments and picking requests. 

Ensure that packaging materials and other consumable supplies are consistently in stock. 

Organize and manage all materials within the plant and warehouse(s). 

Lead the team responsible for verifying quantities and product descriptions of incoming and outgoing goods against packing slips and purchase orders. 

Ensure the integrity of all SAP transactions, including goods issues, returns, and inventory accuracy. 

Partner with the Material Handling team and key stakeholders to define and document material handoffs between functions. 

Train and manage the warehouse team to resolve operational issues and achieve performance goals. 

Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by enforcing safety standards and procedures. 

Drive metrics to continually improve team performance and warehouse efficiency. 

Adapt workflows based on business needs. 

Support the repair team with receipts, fulfillment, and accuracy of finished goods inventory as needed. 

 

What you’ll need 

Associate or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in logistics, business, or supply chain management is preferred. 

Minimum of 5 years’ experience warehouse supervisory or leadership experience preferred.  

Two (2) year of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control and logistics, materials handling, storage layout, and shipping and receiving. 

Experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Inventory Management (IM).  

Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities 

Good verbal and written communication skills 

Highly motivated, self-starting individual with a willingness to learn 

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

Excellent analytical skills; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. 

Flexibility to work under pressure and in an environment where priorities change 

 

Our Environment  

There will be steep stairs to climb into the structure. You may be required to routinely walk up and down stairs to navigate the automation structure. 

You will regularly be near railings that are high off the ground  

Subject to environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions but not necessarily temperature changes. Must be capable of working in temperatures ranging from 105° to 32° Fahrenheit.  

Frequent ability to safely and efficiently lift items weighing up to 50lbs and move items weighing up to 80lbs. 

Stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours and is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms  

The employee is routinely required to work at heights of up to 45 feet and within restrictive areas of 24 inches. Where you may need to be able to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. 

Must be capable of occasional and/or continuous feeling, seeing, hearing, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, balancing, gripping, climbing, crawling, sitting, handling objects, and repetitive movement using both hands and feet. Must comply with all safety requirements and protocols, including without limitation Lock out tag out safety protocols and fall protection safety protocols
