Warehouse Manager

We're seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our distribution operations and drive operational excellence. In this role, you'll oversee daily operations, lead a dedicated team, and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

Direct daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping Establish and maintain inventory control procedures Optimize warehouse layout and storage utilization Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements Manage operational budget and control costs

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 100+ warehouse personnel Create staffing schedules to meet operational demands Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback Implement training programs for new and existing employees Foster a positive work environment focused on safety and productivity

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement efficiency improvements Drive continuous improvement initiatives Analyze operations data to optimize performance Develop and track KPIs Implement best practices in warehouse management

Inventory Management:

Oversee inventory accuracy and control measures Conduct regular cycle counts and reconciliations Manage relationships with suppliers and carriers Ensure proper stock rotation and storage Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels

Technology & Systems:

Oversee WMS operations and upgrades Utilize data analytics for decision making Implement new technologies to improve efficiency Ensure accurate system data entry and maintenance Generate and analyze operational reports

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field 5+ years of warehouse management experience Proven leadership experience managing 20+ direct reports Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems OSHA safety regulations knowledge Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or relevant master's degree Lean/Six Sigma certification Experience with automation systems APICS or similar professional certification

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk/stand for extended periods Capable of lifting up to 150 pounds or maneuver up to 300 pounds Ability to work in various temperatures
