Warehouse Logistics Coordinator

Responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient traffic flow throughout the Winter Haven Roofing Facility by coordinating the inbound and outbound logistics traffic. Responsible for preparing shipping documents according to CertainTeed’s Logistics Standard Operating Procedures using the SAP System Platform. Actively supports strong inventory control and other activities such as data entry, cycle counting, receiving, and shipping. Provides excellent customer service to customers internally and externally.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Monitors all Inbound and Outbound traffic throughout the facility to minimize wait times for loading and unloading. Processes Material Movement Transactions in SAP with a very high level of accuracy (Transfer Orders, Scrap, and Bin to Bin Movements) Participates in Cycle Counting tasks including reconciliation to ensure accurate Inventory Levels are maintained in SAP in both the Inventory and Bin Levels. Processes return shipments from customers. Maintain Department Efficiency reports, organize and file shipping and receiving documents. Support and Maintain Warehouse stock location system and code dates to ensure proper inventory turns and adherence to FIFO principles. Processes Customer Shipments using the outbound process flow in SAP that will ensure optimal location loading, efficient manpower usage, and accurate inventory transactions. Follows the Logistics Standard Operating Procedures. Ensures Max Weight on Outbound Trucks is met. Actively troubleshoots Order Issues with SAP Creates BOL’s documents. Receives Incoming Finished Goods and verifies accuracy using the SAP system. Processes Miscellaneous paperwork & logs data Provides general Customer Service to Customers and Transportation providers. Works with Inventory System to create reports and analytical information required to resolve issues with Orders and Inventory. Processes Hold Inventory Participates in the Physical Inventory process. Investigate shipping & Inventory Errors and develop root cause analysis along with the Supervisor for corrective action. Gives direction and guidance to Hourly Forklift Operators Responsible for resolving all Department Sales Force cases timely and effectively.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: The warehouse is not temperature controlled; noise levels exceed 80 dB in some areas of the site. The facility has heavily congested areas from high-volume of moving trucks and forklifts.
