The PositionQuench is currently seeking a Refurbishment Warehouse Lead. This position will be the hands-on leader of the refurbishment warehouse team in the facility, and oversee the receiving and put away of returned units, manage repair parts inventory, and own the 5s/organization of the warehouse. The Warehouse Lead will work closely with the refurb, and inventory control teams to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team, implement best practices in warehouse operations, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities: · Lead and supervise the refurbishment warehouse team, providing direction, training, and support.· Oversee receiving, inspection, and put-away processes for returned units to ensure accurate tracking and storage.· Manage repair parts inventory, ensuring proper stock levels, organization, and timely replenishment.· Implement and maintain 5S principles to enhance warehouse cleanliness, organization, and efficiency.· Collaborate with refurbishment and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.· Monitor warehouse performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and drive improvements.· Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.· Support inventory audits and reconciliation to maintain accurate records.· Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse processes.
General: · Exceptional communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).· Ability to execute multiple tasks, staying organized in a results-driven, fast-moving environment.· Ability to collaborate with the service, sales, finance, and customer care departments.· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook). Experience with warehouse management systems (Financial force is a plus).· Knowledge of inventory systems and processes· Forklift Certification required· Physical exertion is common to many tasks. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, kneel, sit, and climb stairs.· Steel toe shoes required· Safety Glasses required.· Ability to work overtime, as assigned
Education: · High School Diploma or GED· 3+ years of warehouse leadership experience with multiple direct reports.· Lean or operational excellence experience is a plus.· Valid driver’s license
