**Job Title: Warehouse Lead**
**Job Description**
Under occasional supervision, assists the Operations Manager with the supervision of warehousing and transportation activities. Ensures shipping, receiving, and inventory duties are performed properly and efficiently by warehouse second shift staff. Supervises the daily operations of the second shift warehouse team, including warehouse lead, product handlers, and warehouse team leader. Reports to the Operations Manager.
**Responsibilities**
+ Supervise equipment operators.
+ Instruct, assign, review, and plan work of others.
+ Maintain standards and coordinate activities.
+ Allocate personnel and select new employees.
+ Act on employee problems and review the work of subordinates for completeness and accuracy.
+ Ensure subordinate personnel comply with established safety rules and regulations.
+ Manage the shipping and receiving of all products, including non-beer products.
+ Load and/or supervise the loading of product onto route delivery trucks using the VIP route builder computer system and software.
+ Verify orders/loads with the VIP weight scales system to match predicted pallet weight with actual weight.
+ Direct correction of orders if variations are outside set tolerance levels.
+ Supervise the movement of product from CEW 2 to CEW 1 pick area as needed using the VIP Location Based Inventory Management System.
+ Supervise the parking and staging of route delivery trucks in the drive-thru.
+ Pull tractor trailer trucks from loading dock to assigned staging area and back tractor trailer trucks into the loading dock area.
+ Assist in managing the company's fleet of trucks and vehicles, performing duties such as recording and submitting month-end mileage readings, collecting and filing DVCR reports, etc.
+ Ensure inventory is properly checked in and out of the warehouse; monitor and prepare product damage reports.
+ Rotate products in the warehouse to ensure the oldest product is loaded first; enforce code date policies.
+ Ensure warehouse is closed on a timely basis each evening according to established procedures; monitor efficiency of warehouse operations after hours and on weekends; ensure security of warehouse.
+ Attend staff meetings as necessary.
+ Receive and review bills of ladings, invoices, inventory records, DVCR, shipping records, load requests, etc.
+ Prepare damage reports, code cards, timecards, etc.
+ Refer to policy and procedure manuals, equipment manuals, vehicle maintenance manuals, safety manuals, schedules, code date books, etc.
+ Operate a forklift, vehicle, tractor-trailer truck, hand truck, pallet jack, float, telephone, handheld computer, and desktop computer, etc.
+ Use various forms and clerical supplies, hand tools, shrink-wrap tools, glue gun, thermometer, replacement parts, packing material, etc.
+ Interact and communicate with various groups and individuals such as the Operations Manager, General Manager, subordinate warehouse staff, other company staff, trucking company personnel, service contractors, and the public.
+ Monitor the inventory of and distribute office supplies.
+ Respond to emergency alarms 24 hours per day, seven days per week as needed.
+ Perform related duties as required.

Employees receive a Free Cash Flow Bonus, with half received at the end of July and the other half at the end of December, based on how much free cash flow we have generated. Additionally, you will receive a pay raise once you start full-time. Our warehouse is moving to a larger facility located 10 minutes down the road.
**Work Environment**
The warehouse is not climate controlled but does not reflect extreme heat. Employees are required to wear closed-toed sneakers and comfortable clothing. No steel-toed shoes are necessary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arden, North Carolina.
