Our client, a prominent logistics company, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to join their team in Rancho Dominguez, CA. This role is crucial in overseeing and optimizing warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of products.Optimize the use of warehouse space and resources to enhance operational efficiency.Supervise and support a team of warehouse staff, providing leadership and guidance.Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.Monitor inventory levels, perform regular audits, and ensure accurate stock records.Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and productivity.Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 to track inventory and oversee operations.Train new employees on warehouse procedures and equipment operation.Perform heavy lifting and other physical tasks as required.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations.Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures and logistics, with a preference for experience in a 3PL or e-commerce environment.Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), including AS400.Proven ability to effectively supervise and lead a team.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement.Forklift certification is a plus.

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Compensation:

$18.00 to $20.00 per hour
