Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role you will have the opportunity to be responsible for logistics operations effectiveness and ensuring operational excellence enabling, alignment to defined SLA and customers’ experience continuous improvement.You will take care of day by day operations support, system parameters continuous optimization and effective contribution to improvement project, especially contributing to Logistics 5.0 program.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Italian sites within the Energy Distribution product group located in Santa Palomba (Rome) and the external warehouses. You will be mainly accountable for:• Monitoring of internal and external warehouses; and resolution of process anomalies.• Following the improvement projects on warehousing processes (process optimization adopting Lean approach, WMS system optimization, internal logistics layout optimization including bin locations optimization and configuration, quality improvement of shipments).• Reporting improvement using Business Intelligence platform.• Shipping internal/external transport supporting and monitoring.• Supporting and participating in tenders for transport services and transport supplier management.• Supporting to 3PL management (coordination/continuous improvement/reporting).• NCR management.
Qualifications for the roleYou enjoy working with data analysis and business intelligence tools (SQL, access, Power BI or similar) and knowledge of programming language as vba, vb.net, vc ++ python or similar is considered a plus. Like also knowledge of SAP, WMS functionalities and configuration opportunities will be considered a plus. Nice to have experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, working as Logistics specialist or at least as an intern. You are qualified in Microsoft Office especially Excel (Macros and Pivot). You are interested in logistics, transportation and supply chain management in multinational manufacturing companies. Degree in Management Engineering or Mechanical/Industrial Engineering. You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken. Curiosity towards innovation and the potential offered by digitalization. Results orientation, compliance with deadlines, teamwork, good communication skills and courage.
