What you'll do as: Maintenance Technician
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including but not limited to welders, machines, folders, roll forming equipment, press brakes, iron workers, forklifts and conveyor belts.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures , providing timely and effective repairs
- Communiate with venders and manufacturers to obtain quotes and parts needed for repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety checks on equipment and promptly addressing any hazards to prevent accidents.
-Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse, including tasks like plumbing, electrical repairs, and general building maintenance, to provide a safe and efficient working environment.
Work Experience
The preferred candidate might:
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on warehouse machinery, such as conveyors, forklifts, and sorting systems, to ensure optimal functionality.
- Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse, including tasks like plumbing, electrical repairs, and general building maintenance, to provide a safe and efficient working environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety checks on equipment and promptly addressing any hazards to prevent accidents.
- Work closely with warehouse staff and management to schedule maintenance activities, minimizing disruptions to operations and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
