Job Description
Working under minimal supervision, the Warehouse Floater performs all job duties of Material Handler and the following duties:
Receiving, shipping function, maintaining ERP system
Receives, unpacks, and checks incoming materials and associated documentation.
Unloads carriers.
Maintains files/processes documentation.
Operates duplicating equipment/automated record keeping equipment, including computers (ERP system).
Operates forklift trucks and other equipment.
Checks and issues materials, identified, sorts and stores materials, transports materials, furnishes stock level info, determines/carried out methods of storage, identification and stock location.
Receives, counts, checks units to be shipped checking associated documentation.
Packs articles and secures containers with labels/shipping info.
Skills & Capabilities
Grade 12 or equivalent experience and capability
Successful completed Forklift Operation Training.
Broad knowledge of inventory control and material handling techniques.
Good computer skills
Competent reading and writing skills
