Job Description

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

In this position you are going to Coordinate the day to day operations of the Warehouse including receiving of finished goods from manufacturing and outside vendors, and coordinate the picking, skidding and labeling of customer orders in a timely manner

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Coordinate of all outgoing freight to determine conformances to loading pattern to prevent shifting or damage to material or product during transit. Audit to ensure conformance with labeling requirement and accuracy of order ship.

Audit to ensure compliance with special customer requests including special instructions, such as routing, packing and labeling.

Recommends measures to improve shipping and receiving methods, equipment performance and quality of process. Suggest change in working conditions and/or use of equipment to increase efficiency of the team.

Post Warehouse daily audit metrics along with corrective actions to avoid repetitive issues..

Expected to spend a minimum of 70% of working time engaged in coordinating and auditing, 30% in picking, labeling.

Qualifications

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

High School diploma or GED required and/or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of two years experience in a warehousing, stockroom or closely related role required.

Must have proven skill with warehousing, inventory and shipping/receiving.

Proven communication and organizational skills.

Must be computer literate. Experience with data entry required. Other computer skills are a plus.
