Warehouse Auditor

The Warehouse Auditor is responsible for capturing all compliance issues within the Distribution Center.  The Warehouse Auditor will also be responsible for documenting and reporting compliance issues to the Store Support Center.  Working within the building to capture compliance in receiving, OSD, processing, and in Quality Assurance. 

Job duties:

Responsible for proactively and independently recognizing, assessing and documenting supplier errors in shipping that do not coincide with Fleet Farm’s compliance rules. Research, analyze, document noncompliance issues at the point of receiving to determine their validity of the noncompliance issue. Must be able to assess noncompliance opportunities and disseminate standards to appropriate internal business stakeholders. Work with cross functional teams on the appropriate resolutions, determine root cause. Responsible for appropriate response and follow-up on all noncompliance opportunities, which could be supplier compliance issues, proper shipping methods, damages, carrier issues etc. Develop cross functional relationships with receiving to support continuous improvement and reduction of errors. Assists in creating and refining processes, tools and templates that can be utilized across the Company. Check contents of outbound freight as filled and assembles by warehouse Team Members. Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with customer’s order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or GED, required Warehouse procedures and operation experience, preferred Good written and verbal communication skills, preferred

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is continuously required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. The Team Member is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch; and raise hands/arms above shoulder level. The Team Member is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The Team Member must continuously lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. In the cases of oversized or heavier loads, follow two-person (or more) lift procedures. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
