**Job Title: Production Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up raw materials, maintaining and troubleshooting machinery, inspecting finished products, and ensuring the smooth operation of the production line. This position requires physical labor and mechanical aptitude, with opportunities for growth and advancement. **Responsibilities** + Set up raw material along the production line + Maintain and troubleshoot the shingle machine + Clear jams and ensure continuous operation + Inspect the quality of finished products + Build and stack pallets + Clean and maintain manufacturing equipment and production areas + Assist other areas as needed **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment + Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with basic hand tools + Experience working 12-hour shifts + Physical labor and general production experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work with hand tools + Experience in assembly, machine operation, packaging, inspection, and using a tape measure + Ability to stand and walk for 90% - 95% of the shift **Why Work Here?** We offer significant growth opportunities with the potential for quick advancement and pay increases. The work environment is heavy industrial, and you must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods. The plant can be loud and temperature control is limited, so conditions are impacted by the weather. You must be able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without reasonable accommodation. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
