Warehouse Associate

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Quantity and items are verified against PO and packing list. Material is transferred or issued to the appropriate storage location. Inventory is accurate and verified. Problems are identified and the person responsible is notified to resolve Physical records of received goods are stored digitally Receipts are entered into the SAP system in a timely fashion Parts are pulled and issued from Finished Goods. Packages are prepared for shipment. Export documents prepared. Shipping labels are created using the FedEx ship manager system.  Prepare STO if necessary. Material Handling is performed as required Inventory counts of shipping supply’s required weekly Pull inventory from stock and issue to requisitioner based on internal PO. Digitally file internal documentation PO, receiving document, ETC. Perform periodic cycle counts for reconciliation purposes. Notify SAP support team and planners of inventory shortages

Education & Experience

2+ years’ experience in receiving and shipping (domestic and International) Forklift operation certification  Experience stocking inventory and assembling shipping packages Cycle counting and inventory maintenance Filing, generating routine reports

Skills

Able to handle multiple tasks by changing priorities in a fast-paced environment as supervisor dictates. Operate forklift  Self-motivated with good time management skills Basic computer skills (proficient in Outlook) Good basic math skills Good interpersonal communication & written skills Highly accurate in counting, and reading Must be willing to work overtime and occasional weekend work if required

Working Conditions

An employee in this position works in the warehouse in a manufacturing environment in which safety, environmental and health concerns may demand constant attention.  Strict adherence to corporate policies, rules, and regulations in these areas is required.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and sit. The employee must be able to lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
