About this role

Our client represents a range of leading Australian, New Zealand & European designer furniture and lighting brands. They are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to help with the daily operations of their Reservoir based warehouse to ensure that product is received, quality inspected and dispatched with due diligence and in accordance with customer requirements.

This role will also involve being a back up Truck driver, assisting with delivery and installation on site to ensure customer deliverables are achieved in line with the company's standards.

Key Responsibilities

High understanding of all warehouse distribution processes, from onloading and receiving goods, inventory management, quality control of product, general picking/packing and transport scheduling and carrier management Support the truck driver with supplier pick up/drop off of furniture deliveries Act as backup truck driver (truck can be driven on car license) Assist with workstation and meeting table installation
Skills and Experience Car license  Forklift license (preferable) Workstation assembly experience Knowledge of furniture assembly Be able to use tools Detail oriented Strong communication skills Attention to detail and high procedural compliance A positive disposition, motivation and the ability to create and work in a team environment
