Our client is searching for a Warehouse and Distribution Coordinator to be based at their offices in Randburg which will move to Midrand in June 2020
Shipping
Assist in ensuring the success of launch and promotional plans by coordinating availability of products
Manage stock levels in line with Management objectives and analyse stock situation
Collect information regarding stock from HQ/ Suppliers and challenge delays
Track shipments and liaise with Freight forwarder
Prepare costing files for shipment received & GRV
Liaise with HQ Dubai & Freight forwarder regarding documents and coordinate/ investigate discrepancies in documentation
Arrange and facilitate Port Health NRCS and Agricultural inspections on new shipments received to receive clearance
Warehouse
Receive investigate and resolve BTQ stock queries
Process BTQ IBT and corrections for stock balance
Prepare credit notes based on received process packs
Process stock adjustments on weekly basis
Rectify invoice queries from CRC/ Internet
Process RTS claims for courier account based on procedure
Receive and manage CRC queries involving replacements and order adjustments
Receive and resolve finance queries regarding credit on accounts
Monitor pick face process and assist to clear process issues
Receive and communicate all trade orders to receive approval for processing
Manage trade order process on trade partner dedicated portal
Issue Trade Bill of Materials and liaise with Warehouse manager regarding preparation and delivery time
Manage bookings with trade partners and courier in order to ensure accurate delivery
Receive and resolve Trade Partner queries with regards to stock pricing and invoicing
Liaise with Trade partners regarding returns for credits and process credit notes
Invoicing for stock movements internally
Manager requests to get new codes added to the ERP as received
Requirements
Completed Matric
Relevant NQF Qualification
Own car &ndash as this job my require the candidate to work a little late some afternoons
3 to 5 years experience in similar position
Inventory management experience
Knowledge of Port Health NRCS and Agricultural inspections on new shipments received
Experience working with Pastel Evolution or similar ERP system
Must understand fine picking
Ability to handle queries credit notes invoices orders etc
Understand Shipping and port health facilitation as per job spec
Must be very hands on also admin driven
