Our client is searching for an experienced Warehouse Administrator who will be responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of the warehouse Ensuring that all employees are working safely and efficiently monitor inventory levels and make sure that products are handled properlythroughout the entire process from receiving to shipping

Key Performance Areas
Maintaining inventory records for all incoming and outgoing items to ensure that only authorized materials are stored in the warehouse
Coordinating with other departments to ensure that orders are shipped on time
Ensuring that warehouse staff members are following company policies and procedures for inventory control and packaging including safety measures such as wearing protective gear
Coordinating with other staff members to develop storage and retrieval systems that maximize space efficiency and security of materials
Liaising with planning dept on distribution of stock into stores and ensuring the smooth inflow of product as and when required
Distribution of stock into stores under planning depts guidelines
Ensuring stock is distributed timeously for promotions
Maintain accurate record of inventory and stock management systems according to set standards
Printing barcodes for merchandise & capturing goods received
Tracking shipments and coordinating internal stock transfers as well as resolving delays
Checking invoices against orders insuring any discrepancies are addressed in a correct and timely manner
Assisting and supporting warehouse manager with all admin related duties
Following up with all store queries
Investigating any discrepancies which occur between branch and warehouse regarding receipt of stock into stores
Conducting audits on stock held in warehouse at regular intervals to control stock loss
Receiving/dispatching of stock
Claims &ndash return of stock to relevant supplier
Liaising with suppliers on delivery of goods
Working with manager and supervisor to ensure warehouse performs at maximum efficiency

Requirements and Key Competencies
Matric
4 to 5 years hands on practical experience within a warehouse and distribution environment
Retail warehouse and distribution experience would be advantageous
Must have experience with warehouse administrative functions including receiving systems tracking shipments capturing goods received and stock distribution
Must also be proactive and be able to assist the Warehouse Manager at all times as and when required
Candidate may be called upon to assist in other areas at times during busy periods so needs to be an excellent multitasker and eager to learn
This role will require the successful candidate to be based in the warehouse more than 90 percent of the time and will require the candidate to have loads of energy and drive
