Scope of Position:

Under general supervision of department manager performs a variety of general clerical functions for nursing unit including transcribing physicians’ orders, maintaining patients’ records, routing charts and records, arranging for patient care services (lab tests, x-rays, etc.), answering telephones, answering patient call lights to send appropriate help.
