VP Product Management

ADP is searching for Vice President of Product Management to join our high-performance Global Product and Technology organization. The successful candidate will be the chief product owner for ADP’s Retirement Services, leading the team of product owners who are responsible for understanding market requirements and delivering comprehensive solutions that delight the end users. This role works with Business Unit leadership, Sales and Service Leaders, Strategy, Finance, Developers and Product Managers across the organization to ensure vision/strategy is aligned and is being applied consistently.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drives the overall market leading product vision for ADP’s Small Business product portfolio. Works closely with Business Unit leadership to identify priority segments, and lead development and execution of product plans that support business objectives. Where appropriate, leads development and negotiations of strategic partnerships with software/service providers and manages existing relationships with alliances as they relate directly within respective domains.

Leads the team of product owners and senior product owners who are responsible for full Product Lifecycle Management of ADP’s Small Business product portfolio. Communicates the product vision to ensure product delivery is aligned with strategy. Leads the balance of business needs with technology assessments and recommends alternative approaches to meet design requirements when needed.

Acts as the Chief product owner and interface to development for ADP’s Retirement Services. Defines the overall product roadmap and manages the overall product priorities. Coordinates multiple SCRUM teams (SCRUM of SCRUMs) into a cohesive product plan and release strategy.

Serves as the key client facing contact for the product portfolio. Engages critical 3rd party influencers, analysts, and consultants to educate the market on ADPs portfolio of products and services. Partners with Marketing teams to ensure go-to-market and pricing policies are aligned with product portfolio objectives. Monitors commercial success as well as overall product performance and competitiveness in the marketplace and takes corrective actions as appropriate.

EXPERIENCE:

Requires 12+ years product management experience with large technology organizations Demonstrated experience towards client centricity, market orientation, and technical expertise People management experience required Significant knowledge of and deep experience in the Small Business and Retirement Services markets required

CRITICAL SKILLS:

 

MBA highly preferred, as well as time spent at a top management consulting firm, focused on technology.

 

Proactive and high energy individual with excellent decision-making abilities.

 

Proven ability to partner effectively across functions, with exposure to complex organizations and the ability to gain a shared vision on product decisions and priority trade-offs.

 

Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate technical issues simply and convincingly to help drive fast decisions.

 

Expert experience researching industry trends, usage analytics, competitive pressures and proven experience applying to product strategy & roadmap.
