VP of IT
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a VP of IT based in Jamesburg, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic IT roadmaps, managing IT budgets, and ensuring the company's IT security policies and procedures are up to date and aligned with industry best practices. Responsibilities: • Develop and execute a strategic IT security roadmap in alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices • Assume responsibility for the IT Security budget and develop, mature, and enforce IT Security policies and procedures • Collaborate with other members of the IT Leadership team to integrate security considerations into IT projects, initiatives, and operations • Identify, assess, and mitigate IT security risks to protect sensitive data, intellectual property, and infrastructure assets • Design and implement robust security architectures, frameworks, and controls to safeguard against cyber threats • Establish and manage incident response plans and procedures to effectively respond to and recover from security incidents, breaches, and vulnerabilities • Collaborate with Compliance on all matters surrounding IT Security, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices for IT security • Develop and deliver IT security awareness programs and training initiatives to educate employees and stakeholders on cybersecurity best practices and policies • Assess and manage security risks associated with third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers • Act as the in-house expert on all matters related to IT security, providing guidance and insight to senior management and staff • Mentor members of the IT security team, the IT leadership team, fostering professional growth and development • Generate respect for and appreciation of IT security throughout the organization, promoting a culture of security awareness and accountability • Interact with external security consultants, as needed, to enhance, develop, and support IT security initiatives and capabilities Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Technologies and Microsoft Azure • Ability to create and execute Strategic Roadmaps • Experience with EHR SYSTEM • Knowledge of HIPAA Compliance and System Implementation • Strong Vendor Management skills • Excellent Client Management abilities • Experience in Infrastructure Management • Prior experience in a leadership role within the healthcare sector • Strong strategic planning and implementation skills • Exceptional communication and team management skills • Proven track record in driving IT initiatives and projects • Broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies • Demonstrated abilities in budgeting and financial management • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Strong project management capabilities • High level of integrity and professionalism.
