We are seeking a creative, innovative leader with vision and strategic ability to further advance the end-to-end Guest experience through transformative Food & Beverage concept development and Food & Beverage / Merchandise Operations integration in the role as Vice President of Food & Beverage and Merchandise Line of Business.
Responsibilities
Lead F&B and Merchandise functions including all aspects of food and beverage concept development, and site specific F&B and Merchandise strategies as well as drive initiatives and integration across F&B/Merchandise operations that enhance the overall Guest experience from ideation to implementation.
Set the vision in collaboration with Operations for future F&B and Merchandise innovative experiences and drive business strategies. Identify and engage with operations and to ensure our systems, process, and support are relevant and can manage our high volume and complex business.
In concert with Operations, develop strategic objectives and goals for the Food and Beverage and Merchandise disciplines and ensure timely execution of these objectives. Provide regular and effective updates to the senior leadership team on the performance of assigned areas.
Continually advance and evolve our systems and technology to support site needs.
Be a partner of choice and a role model for collaboration with Operations leaders, internal client & partners and key F&B and Merchandise industry leaders.
Regularly engage with site-level client groups to maintain an understanding of priorities, business requirements, climate, environmental impacts, and overall landscape of conditions and attitudes affecting F&B and Merchandise operations.
Provide leadership and support to site operations leaders in partnership with HR, to frame talent and succession planning solutions that support specific site current and future business needs. Mentor and maintain personal connection with talent across the Food and Beverage & Merchandise business.
Basic Qualifications
• Proven leadership experience and expertise in F&B industry
• Proven leader who enables the overarching strategy and drives results through creative sensibilities, strong business acumen and strategic thinking
• Holistic focus on the Guest experience with the keen ability to leverage innovative ideas and great stories as the foundation for successful experiences driving both Guest satisfaction and business/financial value
• Ability to foster inventive thinking and appropriate risk taking
• Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies, and relationships with internal and external influences to proactively transfer knowledge to the greater team
• Ability to effectively lead in a fast paced, highly dynamic global environment with a focus on increasing heart of house efficiency while considering front of house operating environments
• Proactive focus on anticipating diverse needs of our Global consumers and ability to translate these needs into highly relevant and meaningful Guest experiences
• Demonstrated potential and/or ability to build and foster relationships with key global/cross functional partners and to lead in a collaborative style as well as communicate in an engaging impactful manner
• Demonstrated passion and commitment to diversity and inclusion including inviting diverse perspectives, fostering an inclusive work environment and supporting workforce diversity
Preferred Qualifications
• 10+ years progressive leadership experience in Food and beverage concept development/operations
• Merchandise leadership experience
• Experience with Project work and Integration efforts in a large-scale and/or horizontal dynamic
Required Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
