Overview:

While much of our traditional business stems from our retail distribution and partner relationships, we have a growing direct-to-consumer business that requires a keen understanding of consumers and an ability to create innovative and engaging experiences. As such, we are seeking a VP for our direct-to-consumer business who will be responsible for driving and achieving financial results by increasing the number of consumers using our network and creating a stronger lifetime value of those relationships.

 

BHN maintains several global websites in the US, Canada, Australia, and several countries across Europe. We also plan to expand into Latin America and Asia Pacific in 2025. To successfully grow this channel, we seek a leader with a strong background in eCommerce, including funnel conversion, channel optimization, product marketing, and concept testing and experimentation. Additionally, this role requires strong financial management skills, including a background in owning an end-to-end P&L.

 

Reporting to our head of Global Commerce, the head of our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business will lead this effort in close partnership with the broader BHN organization, including our P&T and marketing teams.

Responsibilities: Oversee a team of business leaders, each responsible for critical metrics and financial results in the D2C experience. These leaders will oversee session growth, conversion growth, lifecycle expansion, payment and risk optimization, promotions, and fulfillment. Improvement and optimization will ultimately lead to driving growth of this business line. Lead the product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth.Coach and mentor the team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives.Monitor and anticipate market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and identify and pursue opportunities for product differentiation.Identify and drive commerce opportunities based on BHN core services such as identity, payments, and retail and digital distribution capabilities.Partner with engineering, business leadership, marketing, and design to align our vision and strategy, inspiring our entire organization and catapulting our company toward achieving aggressive business goals.Build and evangelize design thinking into how we work across design, product, and engineering, and represent design and user experience across the company’s leadership. Qualifications: Significant experience owning a digital P&L, including driving financial results, managing cross-functional budgets, and maintaining costs in line with results.Extensive digital experience in B2C eCommerce, including desktop and mobile commerce experiences.Consistent track record of growing and monetizing diverse consumer segments, from one-time to repeated usage, iteration to innovation, consolidated physical, web, and mobile app experiences.Proven experience as a senior-level digital business owner, with experience directing complex solutions for digital initiatives.Experience with modern product development processes: agile, lean, iterative, outcome-oriented, data-driven (A/B testing), user research-informed.Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and determine a plan that will ensure they are met or exceeded.Strong business sense and desire to partner deeply with business stakeholders to understand and support our various revenue streams. Benefits:

Salary range for this role is $197,000 - $356,000

 

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Blackhawk Network offers benefits including 401k with employer match, medical, dental, vision, 12 paid holidays in the year 2024, 1 hour of sick pay accrual for every 30 hours worked, parental leave, life insurance, disability insurance, accident and illness insurance, health and dependent care flexible spending accounts, wellness benefits, and flexible time off for all full-time employees.
