We are seeking a strategic and visionary leader to join our team as the Vice President of Global Procurement.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement across industries with a focus on driving functional excellence, transformation, and innovation in procurement practices at Teva.

The Global Procurement leader for Functional Excellence and Performance will drive the organization to best in class practices to support Teva’s Pivot to Growth strategy. This role will report directly to the Chief Procurement Officer and will lead Data & Analytics, procurement technology, Risk, Process & Policy, Supplier ESG, and SRM.   This leader will also play a critical role in the digital transformation of Global Procurement. 

Locations: New Jersey, United States, Haarlem Amsterdam, Tel Aviv Israel 

How you’ll spend your day Lead and inspire a diverse team of ~50 procurement professionals, providing guidance and support. Set clear goals and objectives, monitor performance, and facilitate professional growth. Promote collaboration and teamwork to achieve departmental and organizational goals. Improve the end-to-end efficiency and effectiveness of Source to Pay processes, Global Procurement Programs and Corporate Programs including ESG and Working Capital Transform Procurement systems and reporting tools to increase accuracy and timeliness while driving efficiency Build strategic capability standards for the organization including category strategy standards, SRM, and preferred supplier programs Accountable for defining the Procurement's strategy and roadmap incl. analytics and reporting Technical Solutions Lead efforts to streamline and automate core processes such as Purchasing and Sourcing Operations. Ensure that processes are efficient, effective, customer focused and enable procurement teams to deliver strategic objectives. Develop and lead implementation of procurement digital strategy to support the needs of the business and to support improved stakeholder adherence with Procurement tools, policies and initiatives. Oversees that procurement processes and standards are in compliance with other internal and external processes. Resolves any compliance issues in a timely manner. Lead the development and maintenance of procurement analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools. Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making in procurement. Continuously analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost structures to identify risks and opportunities for improvement and implement risk mitigation strategies. Accountable for the development and facilitating execution of a comprehensive learning and development program for the procurement team. Identify training needs, design curriculum, and ensure skill development among procurement professionals. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the procurement department. Your experience and qualifications 15 years’ experience in a Global Procurement Leadership role.  Multi-Industry experience is desired Strong grasp of the procurement technology landscape Experience in change management and Global Procurement Transformation Required experience in a global environment, leading cross-functional teams, managing multiple simultaneous high visibility projects. Operational expertise in risk management and contingency planning Strong communications skills Working knowledge of financial and managerial accounting principles Experience in Ariba or other S2C/P2P solutions desirable Bachelor's degree in supply chain, materials mgmt., purchasing, business or engineering is required MBA or relevant MS degree appreciated Knowledge & Skills Proven leadership capabilities and strategic thinking, strong interpersonal skills including cross-functional teamwork, effective written and oral communication skills, strong multi-cultural skills, high energy levels and a bias towards action Constructively challenges status quo to generate open dialogues.   Thinks out-of-the-box. Ability to develop and execute strategies  Advanced project management and analytical skills Experience in managing end-to-end processes Well established external network for best practice sharing Solid understanding of sourcing and contract management and P2P best practices, policies and tools Proven ability to collaborate and influence Previous experience with Ariba and other Procurement process and system solutions and associated change management methodologies MS office skills (e.g., excel and power point) Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping and quantitative analysis. Hands-on problem-solving skills, with the ability to clearly define a problem, synthesize data to drive fact-based insights and strategic implications, and facilitate development of clear and thoughtful recommendations. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of levels, cultures, individuals and departments. Incorporates excellent Senior Stakeholder Management skills to manage escalations from business and suppliers  Ability to operate within policies and procedures demonstrated by audit reports without exceptions, and enforces policies and procedures for procurement.
