The VP of Information Security Engineering and Operations will be responsible for overseeing the operational and engineering aspects of Broadridge's cybersecurity efforts. This role will include managing security operations teams, driving the development and implementation of security technologies, and ensuring the organization's overall security posture is robust and responsive to emerging threats.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strategic vision for security engineering and operations in alignment with the overall security strategy defined by the CISO.Lead, mentor, and manage a team of security professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.Collaborate with senior management to ensure security initiatives support business objectives.Guide the team in implementing endpoint security, network security, secrets management, and data leakage prevention initiatives.Ensure robust firewall rule governance and effective deployment of intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) across the enterprise.Oversee the engineering and management of secure solutions for secrets, credentials, and sensitive information management.Supervise the identity recertification processes to ensure appropriate access controls and compliance with internal policies and regulations.Provide leadership in developing and enforcing data leakage prevention tools and policies to prevent unauthorized data exfiltration.Oversee the deployment and management of email security solutions to block phishing, spam, and other malicious email-based activities.Guide the team in engineering and managing defenses against denial of service (DoS) and distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks.Report on security engineering and operations metrics and status to the CISO and other relevant stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.Qualifications:
Proven experience in managing security operations and engineering teams.Strong understanding of cybersecurity tools, technologies, and best practices.Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.#LI-NO1
