VP, Finance

Commercial Insurance (CI) is looking to hire a Vice President of Finance who can be a strategic thinker for our FP&A team. This critical role will help drive the strategy of the growing business and will be viewed as a key business partner by members of the CI leadership team. 


This is a diverse accounting and finance leadership position within Chubb Commercial Insurance (CI), with responsibility for the planning, forecasting and reporting deliverables of the division. The successful candidate will partner with senior leaders across CI to drive results and ensure delivery of our business objectives.


Key Responsibilities: 

Partner with business and finance leaders to produce weekly production forecasts and monthly P&L forecasts Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and YTD production, KPI and P&L analysis Prepare quarterly results presentations and work with CI leadership to prepare them for meetings with executive management Partner with operations, IT and corporate finance to resolve process/system/data issues that are uncovered through results analysis Continue the development of increasingly granular metrics to drive better results in key business cohorts Lead the development of the strategic plan and annual plan, including coordinating changes to the production planning application and working with CI leadership to develop granular planning metrics that enable more effective management of the business Work with corporate finance to ensure timely submissions of deliverables, and respond to questions that arise in the consolidated review of results

Education and Experience: 

Bachelor of Science degree in Business with an Accounting/Finance major (preferred)Minimum of 10 years relevant experience –with a large public company in an accounting or financial analysis role or large or Big 4 firm in an auditing roleUnderstanding of insurance accounting and insurance concepts including reinsurance, loss pegging/reserving, deferred acquisition costs, premium audit, etc.
