VP, Consulting - Fidelity Brokerage

Role

As Vice President, Business Consulting – Brokerage a you are responsible for overseeing the delivery of strategy consulting projects on behalf of our Brokerage business. Our projects aim to solve the most critical business issues, and your role is highly valued by Fthe Brokerage business leaders to drive critical thinking forward. Your thought leadership, team management, and client relationships helps the future of our Brokerage business. In addition, your work as an integral member of the Fidelity Consulting ("FC") management team helps to strengthen our group.

Our Vice Presidents lead strategic projects critical to Brokerage.These projects are typically staffed with three to six associates over a four-to-six-month timeframe. As Vice President, you help scope the projects, lead and manage workstreams, and partner with Brokerage business leaders to drive successful outcomes.

The Expertise and Skills You Have

Demonstrated interest or experience in the financial services industry, with the strong knowledge of retail brokerage industry, customers, and products and services

Have worked in one or more areas of the retail brokerage industry with direct experience with customers, products, or services.

The position requires significant consulting experience with multiple years in the project manager role and experience counseling clients/partners, preferably with a top tier consulting firm.

You must have outstanding analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, project management and problem-solving capabilities.

You have both the flexibility and the skill to lead and contribute to teams.

MBA degree or equivalent degree or experience is referred.

Experience with project and team management, specifically including strategy development, evaluation of new retail brokerage products and services, and business transformation

Ability to synthesize analysis and research into strategic insights and practical recommendations, including strategic analysis, financial analysis, operational analysis and primary/secondary research

Experience with new products, technologies and emerging trends impacting the future of our brokerage and retail wealth space

Capable of influencing and providing strategic guidance to senior management, through both personal interactions as well as the creation and delivery of researched based conclusions.

Ability to find intersections of work across the brokerage organization and broader Fidelity.

Ability to assess risk and operationalize findings – turning research into actions

Proficient in quantifying challenges and requirements related to execution

Driver of decisions in complex environments with multiple partners

Adept at leading multiple projects/initiatives at once

Skilled in building relationships with peers and executives in a variety of capacities

A desire to work with people development and mentoring

Leading and delivering complex strategic, groundbreaking, and growth projects aligned to key priorities within the Brokerage business

Interacting with Fidelity associates at more senior levels, gathering data and input and helping build consensus with key partners

Directing various analyses, including market analysis, internal capability assessment, competitor intelligence, customer research, product assessment, and financial analysis/modeling

Leading the development of insights to build new retail brokerage strategies or products/services and developing recommendations for improving business processes, working closely the Brokerage team or potential alliance partners

Preparing and delivering presentations to senior executives

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
