Overview

The Vice President of Sales contributes to the company’s success by providing leadership and strategic oversight for hospice and home health business development across a state or group of states encompassing 500 or more patients, including direct supervision of Community Liaisons and Business Development Directors.

 

Responsibilities Providing direct oversight and support of Community Liaisons and Business Development Directors across a state or regionLeading training and onboarding of marketing liaisons, including ongoing professional developmentConducting marketing assessments and developing a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projectionsDeveloping and maintaining comprehensive working knowledge of organization’s markets including but not limited to key referral sources, competitors, governmental agencies, and major payer groups and applies this knowledge to effective sales planningStaying current with industry and marketplace changes and opportunities for competitive advantageCollaborating and communicating with team and cross-functional partners to fully meet customer needsKnowledge and commitment to the hospice philosophy of careEnsuring compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirementsAdditional responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field8-10 years’ experience in hospice and/or home health business development8-10 years’ experience in business development leadership rolesProven success in the development and execution of strategic marketing plansAbility to lead and inspire othersExcellent presentation and public speaking and sales skillsAbility to be in the field at least 3 days per week About our Line of Business BrightSpring Health Services provides complementary and integrated home- and community-based pharmacy and health solutions for complex populations in need of specialized and/or chronic care.
