VP, Americas Wholesale
Overview

The VP of Sales, North America will be responsible for establishing, implementing and achieving goals and objectives for North America.  This role must effectively build positive relationships across all lines of business and functional departments within the group, and corporate development organization to include wholesale, retail, e-commerce as well as sales, marketing, finance, operations, supply chain, logistics and human resources. The Vice President is responsible for driving business development initiatives, being responsible for the strategic planning process and implementing an effective investment/opportunity process across North America. 

What You'll Do Meet overall financial objectives for the business including revenue, GM, SG&A, OPI, Working Capital and inventory turns Determine and meet strategic objectives for account management, product marketing, distribution and new business development in all wholesale channels Develop, implement, and lead regional prioritization process, business plan and sales strategy and other key business processes to ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability Responsible for full P&L and Balance Sheet Management (from assets) Initiate and execute individual and team sales action plans to penetrate new markets and sales prospects Responsible for controlling expenses to meet budget guidelines Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team Work with global team on key corporate initiatives in marketing, supply chain, finance, legal, merchandising, etc Frequent market visits to conduct joint sales calls with key accounts Acquires and manages top talent, including recruitment and on boarding, ensure performance measurements are meet, and conduct regular coaching and counseling to build motivation and applicable skills Ensures that staff meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, and closes Delegates’ authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up Performs other incidental and related duties as required What You'll Bring to the Table Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or related advanced degree desired Minimum 10+ years in depth sales, general management, business development in the footwear industry Strong eye for business and a shown ability to develop and maintain professional and personal relationships with key business partners and customers positively impacting business growth Proven track record of effectively driving large scale initiatives from a business and cultural standpoint Successful track record of leading and driving a footwear business over $250M Ability to understand, analyze and assimilate complex issues, draw correct conclusions, and formulate clear strategy and policies Effective negotiation skills Ability to acquire and retain required personnel Excellent communication, team building, and leadership skills Excellent presentation and analytical skills Frequent travel required both domestic and Canada

Title: VP, Americas Wholesale 

Salary or Pay Range: $290,000 - $300,000  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
