ICA Cristo Rey, an all-girls independent Catholic, college-preparatory high school, located in the Mission District of San Francisco, is sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose. For the last 15 years, ICA Cristo Rey has been a member of the 40-school Cristo Rey Network, a nationwide network of high schools that integrate four years of rigorous college preparatory academics with four years of professional work experience through our Corporate Work Study (CWS) Program. Job Summary Job Summary

The Visual Art teacher will join a highly collaborative, innovative, and experienced Humanities division. The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated interest in high school education, enthusiasm for teaching college and career ready skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with adolescent girls. The purpose of an art teacher is to support students in developing creative expression regardless of experience as well as cultivate artistic confidence and risk taking. The art teacher will be comfortable with instruction in the elements of art, color theory, painting, drawing, and mixed media techniques.
