Yes If Temporary, enter End Date: 05/31/2025 Position Summary Temporary full-time faculty (not on tenure track), Visiting Assistant Lecturer or Visiting Assistant Professor in the Sport Management Department beginning Fall 2024.The successful candidate will be responsible to teach and assess learning in college courses; 12 credit hours (4 courses) per semester. Fall courses will include Introduction to Sport Management. Spring semester courses could also include courses reflective of the successful candidate’s area of expertise.


Major Responsibilities Teaching
Teach undergraduate and/or graduate sport management courses. Teaching assignments will depend on department needs, expertise, and experience.

Functional and Supervisory Relationships Reports to the academic department chair Works closely with department faculty

Required Qualifications Lecturer Master’s degree in Sport Management, Business, Athletic Administration or closely related field.

Assistant ProfessorEarned doctorate in Sport Management, Business, Athletic Administration or closely related field within one year from appointment date. Preferred Qualifications Industry and/or teaching experience inany of the following fields: intercollegiate administration, event management, strategic management, digital media, media production, and esports.
