Job Summary The School of Management in the College of Business and Economic Development at the University of Southern Mississippi invites applications for a full-time, visiting faculty position in management to begin in August 2025. Primary Duties and Responsibilities + The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability and willingness to teach undergraduate and graduate (MBA courses in management, publish in high-quality management and business journals, and serve the school, college, university, and profession through committee assignments and other appropriate avenues. The teaching load is 12 hours per semester, or the equivalent. Minimum Qualifications Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Management or closely related field from an AACSB-accredited institution. ABD candidates will also be considered. Candidates should have teaching and research interests in management, its sub-disciplines, and/or related areas, and must be able to support our teaching needs in our undergraduate and MBA programs. Candidates must be eligible for employment in the United States. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities + Demonstrated ability to publish in high-quality peer-reviewed academic journals and an active research agenda is required. Preferred Qualifications Preferred candidates will have teaching experiences in and be willing to teach principles of management, operations management, information technology systems/management, and/or related areas in management. The preferred candidate will also have the ability to teach in online and/or hybrid formats.
