In a dynamic and fast-changing environment, we are looking for a VIE Analyst to join our energy strategy team in Malaysia. This is a unique opportunity to work on key issues related to the energy transition.

The main tasks will be as follows:

1/ Competitive intelligence :

   - Carry out continuous monitoring of the Malaysian energy market, identifying trends, key players and innovations.

   - Analyze competitors' strategies and assess their impact on the market.

2/ Opportunity Analysis:

   - Conducting in-depth market research to identify development opportunities in the renewable and low-carbon energy sector.

   - Assess government policies and local initiatives that could influence the energy sector.

3/ Putting together project study files: 

   - Working with in-house teams to develop project briefs for low-carbon projects, incorporating technical, economic and environmental analysis.

   - Participate in the preparation of presentations and reports for management and stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

Expected qualifications:

Engineering degreeA master degree in economics/business would be a plus

Technical skills:

1st similar experience (internship, job) with cross-disciplinary skillsKnowledge of economics, finance, engineeringVery good analytical skills

Computing skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office : Excel, Word, PowerpointStrong technical skills Experience in data visualization and reporting using Microsoft Power BI would be a plus

 

Languages:
