Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Video Software Engineer to work for a DoD customer based out of Warren, MI. This is an opportunity to join a fastpaced program supporting the advancement of army technologies and ground combat vehicles. As an experienced Video Software Engineer, you will support the development and advancement of the NextGeneration Combat Vehicles. Responsibilities: - Starting by figuring out requirements - Building use case scenarios - Coding on virtual machines in C++, translating to Rust, writing new code in Rust - Working in lab/testing things on bench and in vehicle - Getting new hardware from vendors o Example: start with commercial box making it operate in military vehicle (harsh environment) Compensation: $40/hr to $65/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
