At Hearst UK, we are all about creating content that champions positivity and celebrates storytelling. Join our video team to be a part of that journey with us.
We’re the UK’s leading premium publisher, and the people behind iconic media brands such as Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and Country Living. We’ve created a working environment that encourages everyone to pull together. We never stop looking for brave new ideas. We’ll always try to develop and improve, we trust each other to do our best, and we have fun as we build on our heritage to make history. In video, we make a variety of content for all of the Hearst brands. This includes commercial partnership campaigns, our editorial video franchises and internal sales & marketing content.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Day to day, you’ll be collaborating with an amazing team of producers, content editors, journalists, directors, and art directors. The work is always exciting and varied—one day, you might be creating a snappy fashion vignette for Esquire x Hugo Boss, and the next, editing an A-lister’s morning makeup routine. As our Video Editor, you’ll take the lead on your edits, solve any challenges that pop up, work closely with teams across the business, and use video performance insights to guide future projects and drive traffic.
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone who’s confident and skilled in Adobe Premiere, with a solid understanding of After Effects and some basic know-how in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. You’ve worked with B2C clients before and have excellent written English. You understand the unique quirks and styles of video content across TikTok, Meta, and YouTube, and you’re a natural storyteller who knows how to create compelling narratives that resonate with different audiences.
