We are currently seeking a Vice President for our Valuation Advisory Services practice having a solid professional experience in finance and accounting, to manage complex assignments for our multi-sectorial corporate clients, including independent and strategic business valuation, industrial property valuation, purchase price allocation, impairment test, complex financial instruments valuation, fairness opinion and financial modelling.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Managing valuation analysis, including determining appropriate valuation methodology and building and reviewing financial modelsSupervising and mentoring staff on analyses, reports, and presentations Identifying and communicating potential engagements to managementInterviewing clients, including face-to-face meetings, to gather data and information pertinent to the engagementProviding insight and expertise on target industries, market and competitor informationBuilding client relationships and acting as a direct contact with current and prospective clients
Essential traits:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or an MBA from an accredited college/university5-6 years of constructing and reviewing valuation models and other financial models including: DCF, comparable company, stock option, and intangible asset modelsCFA and/or CPA, WP, StB or similar professional designations a plusDemonstrated leadership experience including managing and developing client relationships and mentoring and developing staffKnowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointWorking knowledge of CapitalIQ and/or Bloomberg databasesExcellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communitiesExperience working with diverse teams
