This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, driving performance excellence, managing audit processes, and supporting a culture of safety, transparency, and continuous improvement. The VP of Quality Assurance will oversee a team of QA Specialists and work closely with program leadership to promote best practices, data-driven decision-making, and exceptional client outcomes. Required Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree in Health or Human Services field + Minimum5 yearsof experience in behavioral health + Minimum3 yearsof supervisory or management experience + Valid NYS Driver’s License Preferred Qualifications: + Master’s Degree in a related field + Experience in Quality Assurance, Corporate Compliance, and Public Relations + Familiarity with OASAS, OMH, DOH, and NYS Justice Center regulatory requirements Job Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance Leadership: + Develop, implement, and manage the agency’sQuality Assurance Work Plan, including audits, incident reviews, satisfaction surveys, and performance metrics + Ensure full compliance with regulatory bodies including OASAS, OMH, DOH, and HIPAA + Lead agency-wide monitoring activities such asutilization reviews, chart audits, training evaluations, and client outcomes + Provide leadership and mentorship to QA staff, support professional development and growth plans + Train new hires on corporate compliance and agency standards; lead compliance presentations during New Hire Orientation Compliance & Risk Management: + Serve as agency liaison for theNYS Justice Centerand other regulatory entities + Oversee theincident reporting and investigation processfor Quality Assurance, Corporate Compliance, and HIPAA-related matters + Monitor areas of risk and ensure proactive audits and follow-up are conducted across all programs + Advise program leaders on quality improvement strategies and regulatory preparedness Data & Performance Reporting: + Collect, analyze, and present agency data on service delivery, compliance trends, and outcome measures + Prepare reports for Quality Assurance & Improvement Committees and executive leadership + Oversee the use and implementation of theLearning Management System (LMS)to ensure staff training compliance Safety Oversight: + Act as the agency’sSafety Officer, evaluating health and safety across all facilities + Lead the development, updates, and staff education related to theEmergency/Crisis Response Plan + Provide consultation on high-risk clinical and behavioral situations Skills & Competencies: + Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills + Proven leadership in team supervision, training, and performance evaluation + Strong knowledge of the behavioral health system, with a focus on regulatory compliance + Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and community providers + Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic record systems (e.g., EHR, LMS) + High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion Get job alerts by email.Sign up now!Join Our Talent Network!
