Vice President - Fund Servicing Manager

Join the Fund Servicing team at a prestigious financial firm, JP Morgan, and take the lead in global financial operations, asset management, and top-tier investment banking services. This role involves direct responsibility for the production, review, and delivery of activities related to regulatory requirements and client reporting. You'll also participate in the production and review of NAV impacting activities and regulatory reports, acting as a domain expert and escalation point for potential issues.
 

As a Vice President - Fund Servicing Manager within the JP Morgan Fund Services Trades Team, you will be responsible for managing trade capture, validation, and review of trades recorded in accounting books. You will also take direct responsibility for the production, review, and delivery of activities related to regulatory requirements and client reporting. This role provides an opportunity to work closely with business transformation teams and technology partners to promote continuous improvement and strengthen the risk and control culture within the team.

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

Build a strong organization by hiring and retaining key talent.Raise the service level deliverables and obtain greater scores in Customer satisfaction surveys through strong senior stakeholder management.Work closely with Business transformation teams to identify, lead change and ensure execution.Drive a culture of continuous improvement working closely with Technology partners to improve the execution, quality, efficiency & consistency of services. across the global operations catering to multi geography clients.Drive a strong culture of Risk and control with the team and the business.Ensuring employee connect - coaching and mentoring of direct and indirect reporting members.Be an effective leader capable of motivating, developing and supporting staff, training and managing the teamEstablish policies, procedures and guidelines which comply with internal and external controls to ensure that the statements and work to continuously strengthen the controls environment.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

Extensive experience in managing high end customers & institutional clients across multiple jurisdictions and geographies and establishing permanent and sustainable business relations with these strategic clientsExperience as a Program lead for a large transformation initiative ideally with some banking or capital markets experienceProven ability to deal with complex and ambiguous situations and drive solutionsProven ability to understand broad business issues and their strategic implications Ability to keep pace with technical/ operational innovation with a strong understanding of customer needs and industry trendsProven ability to analyse and assess the business and financial impact of changesProven ability to analyse and assess the business and financial impact of changesAble to share and receive information, transfer knowledge and expertise to / from team members
